The evening hinged around the lighting of seven candles to represent key points tying in where we are now in the bigger picture of God's redemptive work in the world. Creation, Jesus, light of the world, missionary endeavour, Lima churches, Arequipa churches, the local community around the church and our outreach through a children's meeting on Sunday afternoons in a poor area on the outskirts of the city. |
